Activities such as the skills mapping and competency work will all assist in the planning of the work force of the future. This work sitting alongside the developing education agenda we are taking forward with NES all play in to assisting the recruitment of staff in remote and rural areas.
The particular project we will take forward is the exploration of twinning of primary care practice teams that was brought out in the “Solutions Group Report”. Details of this project are being circulated to Medical Directors and can be accessed form the project office.
The RARARI team continues to play into the National work on recruitment and retention of which more will be heard in due course
